According to WhoProfits, HeidelbergCement is a multinational corporation headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany with subsidiaries in 40 countries. Through its subsidiary Hanson Israel, HiedelbergCement owns and operates four plants in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. These plants include an asphalt plant and an aggregates quarry south of Elkana near Nahal Raba; concrete plants in Modi’in Illit; and a plant in Atarot Industrial zone.
