Rafael is a Haifa based Israeli defence and arms manufacturer. It was founded as Israel’s National R&D Defense Laboratory for the development of weapons and military technology within the Israeli Defense Forces.
While may of its current projects remain classified, Rafael are known to have produced weapons and technology used to enforce the illegal siege of Gaza. They produced the SPIKE anti-tank guided missile used in Israel’s 2014 assault on Gaza, and deployed in remote controlled weapons stations along Gaza’s border.
